Raising awareness of the challenges and opportunities of the EU market access environment across the organization

Utilizing our stock of in-house materials, we developed a comprehensive interactive pricing and market access eLearning training programme.

The challenge

Our client had limited pricing and market access training materials for departments such as regulatory, R&D, legal and medical affairs, where an understanding of market access can positively impact their daily work. The importance of EU payers had to be effectively communicated across the organization, to ensure payer relevant decisions are incorporated into clinical and commercial programs for product success.

The solution

Our approach was to develop a pricing and market access training eLearning resource in Articulate Storyline that could be uploaded to the clients learning management system allowing easy on demand access across their organization.

The training program was split into 6 modules; EU overview, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and the UK which incorporated;

  • Healthcare system and financing mechanisms
  • Pricing and reimbursement processes
  • Payers and their evidence needs
  • Implications for the manufacturer

Along with using ‘real life’ case studies, we incorporated voiceover and video recordings of payer experts in order to provide additional payer insights and context into the decision making criteria for each EU country.
